We went with a Dr Seuss theme this year and I think it turned out really cute. Travis and I were Thing 1 and Thing 2, Leah was the peacock and Kenzie was the gold fish in a bowl. I need your help! Many of you may know that we are in the process of trying to adopt our second child. We have already been richly blessed through the miracle of adoption. When we adopted our son Elijah, we kept things really private. Before his adoption, I felt at peace. I knew that if we were prepared, everything would just fall into place. This week I started thinking about what I would do if Elijah was lost.

Sunday, September 1, 2013. Something we have wanted to do with the girls for a long time was to help them engage more with their natural love for animals. Today we were able to do that in a new way for Ohana. This morning, Jenetta took Ohana over the hill for her first riding lesson. It is a lot to learn, but she did well, and she really enjoyed it! Her next lesson is in two weeks, and we are trying to work into the budget where we can do this consistently for her. Posted by Jon and Jenetta.
